Jenna Barlow (Grodsky) is an award-winning writer/director, who produces films, develops content and edits for various networks including CBS, NBC Sports, A&E, Nat Geo Wild, Tru TV, VH-1, MTV and Fox Reality.

Hailing from San Francisco, Barlow made her debut as a writer with “My Father’s Vodka” presented at the world-famous Roxy Theater on Sunset Blvd. by movie/music mogul, Lou Adler (“Rocky Horror Picture Show”). This interactive multimedia comedy attracted celebrities like Jack Nicholson, Daryl Hannah, Christina Applegate and Mark Mothersbaugh to a packed audience.

Barlow also created Phat Chix, an all-girl sketch comedy, backed by Ed Weinberger (“Taxi”) at the HBO Showcase Theater. After teaming up with Chantal Boccaccio, the dynamic duo quickly launched three television series in two years: “Expedition Grizzly,” “Stringers” and “Sex Decoys”.

Barlow continues to work both in front of and behind the camera, with thousands of hours of editing under her belt. Barlow’s latest film “Empire Queen” was recently released on Prime Video and many other streaming services. She is currently developing a new TV show called Ironwood and is in pre-production on one of her original features. Barlow is also directing live events in Palm Desert.

As for some trivia, Barlow is notably the first female to pilot the enterprise on a Star Trek television series.
